Terms of Use

About this documentThese are the Terms of Use of the TradeStars website (tradestars.com.br) and of the TradeStars mobile app, in English, for readers outside Brazil. TradeStars is a Brazilian company and these terms are governed by Brazilian law. A Portuguese version covering the website is available at Termos de uso; where the two correspond, the Portuguese text prevails in the event of divergence.

1. Who we are

The website tradestars.com.br and the TradeStars mobile app are maintained by TradeStars, registered under CNPJ nº 22.270.352/0001-08. In this document, "the Service" means both of them. By using either, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with any point, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is — and what it is not

TradeStars is an educational platform. Everything published on the website and in the app — blog articles, the glossary, book recommendations, event pages, lessons, live sessions and promotional material — is strictly educational and informative.

We do not provide investment advisory services, securities analysis or intermediation of financial assets, activities regulated in Brazil by the Comissão de Valores Mobiliários (CVM). Nothing you read or watch on the Service is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset.

RiskTrading in financial markets involves the risk of loss, including of the capital invested. Past results, ours or anyone else's, do not guarantee future results. Any investment decision is yours and should take into account your profile, your objectives and your financial situation.

3. Who may use it

The Service is intended for people over 18 and is not directed at children or adolescents.

4. Your account in the app

Watching lessons, live sessions and other content in the app requires an account. Keep your login details to yourself: you are responsible for whatever is done through your account.

Accounts are personal. They may not be shared, lent, sold or transferred. We may suspend or close an account that shares access, that records, copies or redistributes content, or that otherwise breaches these terms.

Closing your accountYou can ask us to close your account and delete the data associated with it at any time, by writing to [email protected] from the e-mail address of the account.

5. Use of the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the app on a device you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.

You may not copy, decompile, reverse engineer or modify the app, create derivative works from it, or use it in any way that interferes with its operation, its security or the access of other users.

6. Content and intellectual property

Texts, images, videos, lessons, trade marks, logos and the structure of the website and of the app belong to TradeStars or to its licensors, and are protected by copyright and industrial property law.

You may read, share links and quote excerpts with attribution and a link to the source page. You may not reproduce the content in full, redistribute it as your own, use it commercially, record or capture lessons and live sessions, or create derivative works without written authorisation.

7. Programmes and enrolment

Nothing is sold inside the app. Mentoring, in-person events and TradeStars programmes are contracted through our own channels and are governed by the commercial conditions presented at the time of enrolment, which prevail over this document on whatever is specific to them.

8. App stores

The app is distributed through stores operated by third parties — Google Play and, where available, the Apple App Store. Downloading and using it is also subject to those stores' own terms, over which we have no control.

The stores are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the app, for its content or for support. Any question, request or complaint about the app should come to us, through the channels in section 13. Where the app is obtained from the Apple App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Links to third-party services

The Service contains links that lead to services operated by third parties. Once you click them, your relationship is with those third parties, under their terms and policies, over which we have no control:

  • the membership platforms tradestars.live and minhaaldeia.com, which have terms of their own;
  • WhatsApp, used as our contact channel;
  • the TradeStars profiles, and those of its specialists, on social media;
  • Amazon, on the recommended books page.
Affiliate linksThe links to books on Amazon are affiliate links. If you buy through them, TradeStars may receive a commission from Amazon, at no additional cost to you. The choice of titles is editorial and does not depend on the existence of that commission.

10. Availability

We try to keep the website and the app running and the information correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the absence of errors. Content, event dates and conditions may change without prior notice. We may change, suspend or discontinue features of the app, and you may need to install updates for it to keep working.

11. Your data

How personal data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you agree to the version then in force.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the district of Curitiba – PR, Brazil, are elected to settle disputes, except where the law entitles a consumer to the courts of their own domicile.
